Thampi has been part of some interesting researches and holds interests in Business process and Re engineering in the realm of Engineering Education. Apart from his own researches, he has also been a guide for multiple researches done in the technology front and has contributed to the existing body of knowledge. 20 research scholars are awarded Ph.D. under his guidance. Dr. Thampi is also an author of 85+ research publications and books.
